Account of Philip Michell, bailiff for the year 1687 listing rent receipts fro Feoffees’ lands and houses. Includes a payment from Elizabeth Carswill of money given by the will and testament of her brother Peter, deceased. Payments made to forty poor people towards house rent. Other payments made for maintenance and repair work including to the mason and to Anthony Smith the carpenter. Payment of salaries such as to the mustermaster, James butter schoolmaster and John Ruter, overseer of the poor. Payment made to John Haynes and Stefan Bagwell to go and give evidence in Exeter about the death of Tucker.
