Changes discussed and planned for Feoffees School as follows “Resolved that the school be established as a day & boarding school under its ancient name as The Colyton Grammar School – that a Master be appointed at a salary of £80 pa and the use of the School House free of rates and taxes,that he be required to give a good education to 6 boys free, to be elected by the Chamber,and to educate the sons of residents in the parish at a charge of 4 guineas a year.”
